witnessing another's achievements

it's important to support friends in their endeavors. we each have something to give, and something to gain from the experiences of others. honoring the work and gifts of others is good for everyone. beloved son & i attended a u.s. naval sea cadet award ceremony and inspection for a certain friend we'll call Q, who is an awesome human being. we were happy to witness his achievement, and honored that he invited us.
