Glorious, wild 10-foot-tall sunflowers like these greeted us at several corners as we approached Dolly's 80th birthday party in Chico.

Surrounded by many of her friends and loved ones, the heat did not stop her from thoroughly enjoying her event.

A cupcake and candle for each person in attendance...a group wish-making extravaganza. :)
