i say "wordless" because our visual pictorial comes without audio. and anyway, it is for our muses to know of what they spoke, not us. these images make me weepy. their authenticity is spot on. the secrets of their conversation make the images ever more intriguing.
this is what i work for. an intimate capture of mother and son on the eve of his high school graduation and the beginning of what is next: college plans.
love, love, love. kerri
jeff, part II
another part of our day in the city included jeff's second set of portraits: his suit shots. our plans changed from visiting monterey so we made the best of our time and locale on treasure island to capture these san francisco backdrop images. although i enjoy them very much, it's the batch i will release tomorrow that i really love-a few intimate and candid moments with mother and son. more to come. kerri
easter
some traditions are made by time and reason. some are made by chance. we took a chance this easter evening and participated in the san francisco 'bring your own big wheel race'. i have not laughed so hard in quite some time. matthew can be seen about 11 seconds in, right before brett/the big brown dog. cousins and family. love! finished off with a night at pier 39, bubba gump's, carousel ride, and a taste of mini donuts and ice cream...oh my!

two years in the making, fruition at last!
today our banner project became not only a plan and a vision, but a reality. after two years of planning and weeks of creating and working with the sign company and city, it has at last been installed: the ballet company's 30x60 banners hang beautifully around the downtown area. here are four of the five, the fifth will need to be photographed once the rain stops. really, i am tickled pink...
thank you Julee Herrmann for these two shots!!

Relying on one another
As mothers, we learn to lean on each other when we need help. It is only natural to ask...How can I ease your load? If I'm there, I will help. If it is anywhere nearby, I will offer. Today was such a day. In the end, it meant friend Q did not need for her daughter to ride her bike miles across town to get to the same class we would attend. I could take her, no questions asked. Her and her daughter's response, per a text before bed?
Daughter K: "I love Mrs. Hamilton! Doesn't everyone?"
Friend Q: "I do!", 'I replied enthusiastically.'
Well. This particular Friend Q and Daughter K are very near to my heart. It all comes down to this. Serve one another. Help one another. Support one another. You'll get it back.
